Summer Reading Assignment

Lanier Middle School’s Summer Reading Requirement

Directions:  Please choose 2 books from your grade level list below.  Read the books and then complete a graphic organizer for each book.  The organizers are on the back of this handout.  You will have until Wednesday, August 21^st to complete this assignment, and you will turn the assignment in to your first period teacher.  10 points will be taken off for each week the assignment is late.  Your first period teacher will start accepting assignments as early as the first day of school.  Both graphic organizers will count as one quiz grade in your language arts class.

Rising 6-7^th graders
